Commission - Ponsanooth Lamp

The Brief

This was a lovely commission for a couple who saw my work at a Christmas show, and bought it as a joint golden wedding present for each other.

The basic brief was a double stem lamp, in sweet chestnut with ash shades. I love the way the smaller stem is leaning in, almost lovingly, towards the taller stem.

I kept them up to date on choice of stems and the angle I proposed to mount them at. They were happy with all the decisions I made, and I delivered it to them around 3 months after they commissioned the piece.
