Bespoke Steam Bending

We are regularly asked to quote for bespoke steam bent components, often for lighting designs, or occasionally for more unusual items. This steam bent arm was conceived as a neat solution to suspend wooden lampshades over a counter where it was impossible to fix anything to the glass roof of this extension.

This component for a lamp design was made for a customer in Italy. It was twisted in English Brown Oak. Grooves were routed to accept the LED strip light. The piece was mounted on the base by the customer.
