Spectacular Olive Ash Table with Walnut Legs
A richly figured slab of ash with distinctive “olive” colouring. Legs are English walnut, hand split and shaved, flaring to the feet.
This is an offcut from a large dining table we made a few years ago. The olive colouring is believed to be a host reaction to fungus.
The edges of this table have been hand-worked to what we call a “pebble edge” - remiiniscent of the wonderful pebbles found on the beaches of North Devon. It has been sanded silky smooth.
Dimensions:
Depth 35cm
Height 51cm
